SPEED Connections Program

SPEED CONNECTIONS provides intensive therapeutic instruction covering academic, communication, social and behavioral skills for students with autism and other pervasive developmental disabilities.  Classes are taught and supported by a designated team of highly trained educators and therapists utilizing a multi-disciplinary team based approach with a smaller staff to student ratio that focuses on the unique needs of these children.  The individual needs of each student using the expertise of our staff incorporating STARS, discrete trial training, elements of TEAACH, behavior analysis, individualized visual schedules, picture communication and social stories.   A behavior interventionist is assigned to the team and specialized training is provided to our paraprofessional staff. CONNECTIONS classrooms are located at ELC and PAL, depending upon grade level.
