On August 27, 2015, a Public Hearing will be held during the meeting of the Governing Board of SPEED SEJA 802 at 7:00 p.m. at the SPEED Central Office, 1125 Division Street, Chicago Heights, Illinois. The purpose of the Hearing is to receive testimony from educators, parents, and other members of the public concerning the proposal to permit the possible use of school holidays for student instruction or other school purposes.

Special Olympics Events

Special Olympics Track Season officially started March 31st; our athletes will compete in Spring Games at Thornwood H.S. on May 3rd. Summer Games will take place at Illinois State University in June.

SPEED debuts After School Advantage Lab

On September 24th, Northstar Lottery Group, unveiled its newest After School Advantage learning lab yesterday at SPEED student center in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This marks the eighth lab of its kind in Illinois providing at-risk youth with a meaningful and productive after-school experience.
